New digital short film project
D-Live! Theatre are looking for BSL PERFORMERS!
We have an exciting new digital project working with Derby Theatre this year and we need you.
You will be working in a cast of 3 BSL-using performers with a Deaf BSL-using director creating a 5-10 minute scene - an extract from “Mountain Language” by Harold Pinter. This play explores the themes of language oppression. This scene will then be filmed and the digital film used in the project.
We’re looking for 3 BSL-using Actors for the following roles:
Guard - playing age - mid 20s to 40s
Prisoner - playing age - mid 20s to 40s
Mother - mature - playing age mid 40s to 60
One day Rehearsal - early/mid November 2021 - TBC
One day Filming work - End November - Early December 2021- TBC - Venue is also TBC but likely to be in London.
