Meet Othello are torn love and duty , manipulated into thinking that his wife Desdemona has been carrying on an affair with his Lieutenant Michael Cassio, when in reality, it is all part of the scheme of a bitter Iago.
D-Live! Theate was given the opportunity to work with well-known play Shakespeare ‘Othello’ to develop new written adaption work for mainstream (Deaf and Hearing) audience which tells a story of a play protagonist of physically powerful figure of black man who is respected in spite of his elevated status. This project would represent part of Black Lives Matter awareness, through reaching and engaging with BAME and in schools.
We give our big thanks and appreciation with Queen’s Theatre, actors and our crew to able develop our continue R&D work
which sadly mark our last project to be held at Queen's Theatre hence ending our 3 years associateship.
